20 years of Louboutin

It would be a struggle to find a girl that doesn't whimper at the sight of a red patent sole. We suffer from serious shoe envy - Louboutins never fail to make us go weak at the knees, they have firmly held first place on our Christmas/birthday/just because list - ever since we stopped asking for a pony - and are a permanent fixture in our fantasy net-a-porter basket...

(we wish!)

So it was with dilated pupils that we tottered over to the Design Museum to celebrate 20 years of the beautiful shoe.
Highlights include a very life-like hologram of Dita Von Teese performing a burlesque routine, a peep into the french designers personal sketch books and drawings, along with the all important galleries containing some of the show-stoppers.
There were constant reminders to 'not touch' the shoes but we can't help thinking some more appropriate signage would be to 'not stroke/caress/slobber over'
All hail Christian Louboutin, as for you Santa...
