Much to the annoyance of our waist lines and bank balances, food and fashion rank highly on our list of obsessions, thus, we salute the mastermind behind The Berkeley's
'Prêt-à-Portea' - which effortlessly manages to combine the two.
Dubbed a fashionista's afternoon tea, with designer biscuits and cakes inspired by the current seasons runway looks, we left wondering why all food can't be this pretty.
The couture Spring/Summer 2012 menu consisted of a 'replenished to your hearts content' selection of sandwiches, canapés and high-end sugary delicacies, along with a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne and one of the biggest pots of tea we'd ever seen.
The best part? We each left with a bespoke, bag shaped takeaway box which had been filled with an extra helping of fashionable treats.
Cue squeals of delight.
