Our twist on the classic jam tart, perfect to dunk in a cup of tea or slathered in melted chocolate for extra decadence...
175g plain flour
80g butter
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
50ml water
Mix together the flour, salt, sugar and butter then add the water bit by bit.
Knead to form a ball of pastry - leave in the fridge for about an hour.
Roll out and cut using a heart shaped cookie cutter.
Sandwich a big dollop of jam in between two pieces of pastry to form your jammy parcels...
Make sure the edges are completely pinched together to avoid any molten jam explosions in the oven! You may need a little egg wash. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 15-20 minutes at 200°C.
Eat!
