London Fashion Week S/S 13 Day One

September.
As the last of the summer sun seeps away and the crispy leaves brace themselves for a stomping, we've begrudgingly waved goodbye to our extra freckles and swapped our sunglasses for scarves - along with a disproportionately fluffy wardrobe.
The mornings have started to get darker and our chilly tootsies have begun to turn blue in horror as we wriggle into Autumn-inappropriate footwear sans socks/tights.
With umbrellas vying for a spot in our bag most days (!) we think we've got ourselves a case of the Autumn/Winter blues...
The perfect antidote?
Hitting the fast forward button, (with a pause for Christmas of course!) and whizzing straight to Spring/Summer 2013.
It's fashion week darhling!

We headed to Mercer Street for our first runway show of the day, Zoë Jordan...

Hi Jameela Jamil!

Poppy Delevigne posing for the paps

Thank you Zoë, we loved the pastel pinks, masculine tailoring and pops of neon!

For lunch, we popped into the new Soho Burger & Lobster, which we found to be much more relaxed and spacious than it's Mayfair counterpart.

Refuelled, we set off for LFW HQ - Somerset House.
Cue dizzying camera flashes from the paparrazi, hoardes of designer-clad fashionistas, more beautiful people per square inch than any other place on Earth and air kiss after air kiss...

Next up, Bora Aksu, with a regal theme and star-studded FROW...

Hi Laura Whitmore!

Kate Nash looking for her ticket!

The paparazzi frenzy as Kelly Brooke took her seat
those crazy paps!!

Bora was inspired by Queen Victoria's grand-daughter, Marie, who went on to be the Queen of Romania. The predominately royal blue collection saw the models draped in chiffon, lace and frills - not forgetting crochet crowns.
We want need it all!

Next stop, Vauxhall Fashion Scout.

Lydia and Beth swapping notes on blue jumpsuits!

FROW at Timur Kim!

Hip hip hooray for Timur!

Complimentary hues of blue and white paisley make us want to frolic in a field with flowers in our hair!

We were invited to a soiree at The Aram Gallery to view the Eley Kishimoto 'Living with Patterns' exhibit.

Champagne reception yippppeeee

Shoes taking themselves for a walk - the best contraption we've seen since the breakfast machine in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
