Beth's Birthday Bellini Brunch

If you ever find yourself in Doha or Dubai on a Friday, chances are you'll be at brunch.
Brunch in the Middle East isn't merely a packet of Percy Pigs between breakfast and lunch, or a half-hearted breakfast with a Bloody Mary. Oh no.
It requires the whole day to be solely dedicated to eating, drinking and inevitably, napping.
With a glamorous dress code and grand setting, it's the only way to spend the weekend.
Salad bars, pastas cooked to order, perfectly poached eggs, sushi platters, freshly baked breads and pastries, carverys and whole rooms filled with every dessert imaginable.
Not forgetting the unlimited champagne.
Servers swoop in to refill flutes after each sip, whilst chefs whip up everything you could ever dream of.
London hasn't quite caught on to brunches of the same scale but we've stumbled across one that's pretty close. Bubbles and Brunch at The Cookbook Cafe offers unlimited bellinis and a eye popping array of traditional brunch favourites. All that's missing is the shisha and the sunshine!
It's the perfect place to spend a long lazy afternoon and an even better place to celebrate a special occasion. Especially if that special occasion's a birthday...
Bellini please!
