Easter Funday Nails

So we know Easter's all about the chocolate, fluffy chicks and the Easter bunny, duh! Oh and something about someone in a cave (?) but what about our nails? Can't they join in on the fun?
We decided that they could. So we painted them as Easter eggs - with an extra special appearance from Mr Bunny himself...

Like totally, Strawberry Sisters 90's Style!

So if you've our watched our 90's tag, you'll know we have a slight obsession with our childhood decade. Being the T.V geeks that we are, we decided to play around with a few of our favourite styles from a couple of the cult classics - and give them a Strawberry Sister twist. Sabrina, Donna, Kelly and Cher, we salute you!

Roadhouse

When we're hankering after a good cocktail, Roadhouse in Covent Garden is the first stop on our list.
With possibly THE best Happy Hour in London and a menu bursting with some of our absolute faves (we wholeheartedly recommend the Raspberrylicious and Hollywood Hills; yum!) - there really isn't anywhere else we'd rather pretend to be the lead singer of a band...
Neon Signs, Rock and Roll AND burgers?! Roadhouse, we love you!

Tommi's Burger Joint

When two little strawberries go shopping on Oxford Street, what do they eat when they get hungry? Brussell sprouts? No, eww! Chopped aubergines? No, yuck! Strawberries? No, we don't eat our own kind! When we get hungry only one thing can satisfy us... that's right, you've guessed it.... a BURGER!

Tommi's Burger Joint opened in August and, ever since then, has been placed on a very long - and very prestigious - strawberry sissy list we like to call *gasp* the Burger Bible. This famous chain from Iceland has a do-it-yourself feel, from the self service condiment bar to the 'help yourself' beverage fridge. With yummy burgers and even scrummier crispy fries, we'll definitely be revisiting this gourmet, yet authentic, fast-food restaurant!

We just couldn't resist opting for the, perhaps slightly understated, 'Offer of the Century' including a burger, fries and soda!

Electric Diner

If a place has the word 'diner' in it, chances are, we're already sold. In fact, one of our favourite restaurants in the world, Annette's Diner, located in another of our favourite places, Disneyland Paris, (duh!) just so happens to have the word 'diner' in it. Basically, mere mention of the D word and we're licking our lips in greedy (and quite possibly greasy) anticipation!

Electric Diner is located on Notting Hill's Portobello Road, right next door to one of the oldest working cinemas in the UK, Electric Cinema. This all-day, all-American joint, has managed to capture the classic dive bar buzz - whilst giving the interior a major upgrade. Don't fear, you'll still be able to enjoy a good ole' hot dog or burger from the comfort of a red leather booth, or from the bar where you can watch the chefs work their magic...

A glass of prosecco, because, well, strawberries need hydration too!

The menu branches away from traditional greasy diner fare, instead serving an eclectic mix of both French and American dishes. The English breakfast was superly dooperly delicious, with special mention going to the yummy mushroom and ultra juicy bacon! We also had the open-faced ham, cheese fondue and fried egg sandwich. Which wasn't actually, technically a sandwich... but was extremely tasty all the same!
