you know
those two Everdeen sisters from district 12?
well, like, EVERYONE has been asking to borrow our mockingjay pin
we know how fashionable we are
but guys we've only got the one
but never fear because
hope is the only thing stronger than fear y'all so
we've created a simple tutorial for you guys to make your own
find a photo of ours online
(p.s. there's lots as people love it so much)
print it and carefully cut it out
beautiful work there scissors
trace around the mockingjay onto some kind of shiny gold paper
we stole ours from the Capitol
shhhhhhh
for cutting out this shape we used the end of an arrow
but if you don't happen to have one of those lying around
(and seriously why wouldn't you)
we suggest a craft knife instead
for the two circles on the pin
you can draw around the bottom and then the top of a cup
one circle down
one to go
boom
now you've got the perfect target-
Oi Katniss stop with all the arrow talk
then cut around the outer circle
NOT with an arrow k?
now time to add a safety pin
you can use a hot glue gun or tape
you know
whatever you fancy
no one really patrols district 12
so that looks pretty hot
ouch burnt my leg again on it
wear it with pride around your district
