a jolly healthy lolly

to conclude our very un-strawberry healthy eating in January
we decided to share with you our not-so-guilty pleasure
that has helped us through the month.
this fruity, nutty and (most importantly) chocolaty lolly
is one beaut of a snack and tastes major delish

it would be handy if you had the following:
chocolate soya milk (or almond if you want yours more on the nutty side)
a small banana
a handful of strawbs
some kind of hazelnut flavour (we went for yoghurt but be as creative as you desire)

1

begin by collecting eight ounces of the non-milky goodness

3

then pour super carefully

4

and try really hard not to sip

5

pour the whole lot into a blender - but hold those horsies
no blending for you yet

6

you've got to chop up that banana first

7

and then plop those in too

8

we felt hungry so dolloped in the whole of our yoghurt -
which works out about half a cup

9

now's the moment for your blender to shine
let it smooth out your perf concoction

10

NOW FOR THE STRAWBERRIES
chop those bad boys up so they're nice thin slices please

11

cos we're super fancy (e.g. lazy) we used an instant lolly maker
but this works just as well with a good old fashioned lolly mould too

13

now it's time to line the outside of the mould with some of your strawbs
and then fill in the rest with your scrummy liquid

14

when the lolly is set, remove and dance around the kitchen
oh that's just us? doesn't everyone have a lolly dance?

15

yes cheeky strawb we do see you

16

TASTE TEST

17

hmmmm cold is what i'm instantly feeling

18

oh yep and there's the banana!
and the nuts!
and the chocolate!
oh so many flavours!

19

if that isn't the face of someone whose just eaten a bite of an amazing lolly -
we don't know what is.
