it must be pretty clear by now
that we both love American food
so when a new diner opened up in Carnaby
we knew we just HAD to get there
ASAP
and Stax certainly did not disappoint
we noticed one thing right away
they enjoy the colour red
what a co-inkydink that strawbs are also red
were we destined to feast here by the great strawberry Gods?!
prolly not
but boy were we ready for some classics from the US of A
it all just sounded sooooooooooooooo darn-tooting good
as we pondered both our food and drink orders
we may have got a bit snap happy at the quirky interior design
everything was just too beaut
we couldn't resist!

em went for a diet coke
while beth went wild with a cookies and cream milkshake
which was the bomb dot com
and a perf starter to the ultra delish burgers
which we just could not wait to absolutely devour
can we just talk about the fries for a sec?
they were the most crispiest dish of deliciousness
as was the fried chicken burger - which was literally exploding out of the bun
and the bacon cheese burger had the exact right
juice to crunch ratio
the perfect lunch spot if you're going to be around soho
or even if you're not
and we rate stax so highly
we're awarding it with the strawberry seal of approval
