to celebrate mumma strawberry's birthday
we became total tourists for the day
and had a good old stroll around
landan town
so obvs we're going to take y'all along too
we started at the no.1 tourist hotspot:
buckingham palace
gots to be getting our shop on before the adventure starts
quick pop into the gallery - tres chic
then the state rooms
which were blimming beaut
strawbs love having a lil snoop around
the cheeky audio tour was actually supes interestante too

there is also an amaze exhibition this year at el palace
all about the royal children

food

we landed at the Intercontinental Westminster

is it time to start eating yet?
it's tea time first silly
mumma and dad opted for a traditional english breakfast
while beth went super cray with a oolong tea -
which was caramel-y and super yummy
we started with cucumber and prawn cocktail shots with pork pies
as well as the totes classic finger sandwiches
omg and they were all soooooooooo delish
out popped the scones

well bethy decided to rebel and have one half jam
and the other half cream to make a
SUPER SCONE SANDWICH

its like our food is on a british summer holiday
we had super scrummy peach lemonade and peach mousse sandcastles
oh lordy-poo them colourful choccy-fudge beach huts
we, like, totally went to chocolate heaven
and it was real nice there
the cherry cheesecake bucket was real good too
all finished up with the cutest mini jivara chocolate cone
woah woah woah hold your horsies
not quite finished yet
we had to sing happy day to the birthday gal herself
(side note: jealous much dad)
obvs we had to carry on the touristy activities post afternoon tea
partly because we needed to walk off all dat food
but mostly because london is just so perrrrdyyyyy x
