the science museum:
it's no longer just for children on school trips
because every last wednesday of the month - it's grown-ups only.
yep, you heard right.
these events happen late in the day
so THAT'S why they're called lates
it is indeed
lil strawberry sister just so happened to be lurking around south kensington on the last wednesday of May
so she grabbed a buddy and ran on over
here's what happened next...
so many floors
to explore
ghd had their own team of scientists there
basically we're hair geniuses now
then we skipped on over to the screen printing pop-up
where beth tried her hand at, erm, screen printing
funnily enough
concentration face
obvs this is the strawberry sisters blog
can't go anywhere without a mention of food, can we?
what a spread
snaps to the science museum on this one
pulled pork burrito and cheesy quesadilla
after stuffing our faces
we TOTALLY weren't ready for the flight simulator
but here's a photo of it anyway
yeah this dude is touching some lasers
not just any lasers
lasers which sound like drums
it's more impressive in person okay
ah
now
this photo needs some explaining
basically the art piece looked white but then when you looked through this magical screen y'all could see all the colours and stuff
SORRY MY CAMERA COULDN'T HANDLE THE MAGICALNESS
oh you know
just testing our body heats
no bd
did we mention you can take a tour of the museum dressed as a cockroach?
well you can
what better way to end the evening than with a
SILENT DISCO
as you can probably tell from the photo below
we were having a pretty spesh time
who wouldn't want to be listening to some absolute classics
(reach of the stars, anyone?)
next to some pretty cool sciencey stuff
WE WOULD
overall a pretty great night
where you learn stuff and have fun
AND IS COMPLETELY FREE
we're expecting to see you all there July 24th
be there or be square
