it doesn't take much for us to feel festive
but this is NEXT LEVEL CHRISTMASSY
welcome to the 2015 Strawberry Family Gingerbread Challenge
Step one: buy all of the gingerbread house making packs
(or you could make them yourself, but we're just too busy writing our letters to Santa)
Step two: buy all the chocolates and sweets your money can buy
Step three: try not to eat them all before you've started (hehe)
Step four: on your marks, get set, BUILD!
Step five: assemble all your pieces (we're talking walls, roofs and chimneys)
Step six: use icing to cement together.
be careful - no huffing or puffing, you big bad wolf wannabe
or you house might blow down...
clearly Beth used super glue
Step seven: GET CREATIVE
we advise excess use of icing
it's like totally snow - DUH!
chocolate buttons/roof tiles - who can tell the difference???
Christmas music in the background - totally obligatory
serious work in progress
Emily's gingerbread masterpiece entitled "YAY! IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY!"
Beth's debut: 'one snowy morning'
Strawberry boyfriend's 'untitled with added Rudolf'
Strawberry Dad decorated up a 'ginger ninja house'
Strawberry mum entered her 'Fairy Party'
the village in all it's glory
we all voted on a winner...
while they were being counted and verified the atmosphere was frosty (the snowman)
no deadlock here, guys!
Beth's 'One Snowy Morning' is VICTORIOUS
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now it's time to eat
and wait patiently for santa to visit the strawberry residence
oooops all gone
does anyone fancy a gingerbread latte? x
