if you're a loyal SS reader you'll know we LOVE Vogue Festival and Fashion Night Out
well now, it's time for us to give another of our magazine favs a whirl
at the (first ever!) Glamour Beauty Festival
after attempting to perfect our makeup looks for the day (#attempt)
we tubed on over to Sloane Square

The event took over the Saarrrtchi gallery

thanks Andy! MUAH!
the obvious first stop at a beauty festival... the bar, duh
it's all about that champagne yo
I spy with my little eye something beginning with La Petite Anglaise
hmmm that's a toughy... is it La Petite Anglaise?
NAILED IT!
first (beauty) stop: balance me
time to get our skin tested by putting our heads into a light box thingy-majiggy
turns out my skin is dryer than i thought DAMN YOU WINTER
you may have won the battle but I'll win the war!!!!
oh and just casually creeping on niomi smart like all normal people would
#wallofglamour
#wallofbore LOL JOKES LOVE YOU BETH
we schooched upstairs to the Lancome makeover studios
where they were doing makeovers... and it was like a studio
but with personalised lip oil yo
with our nails calling out to be remembered
(did we tell you we put an enchantment on our nails so they can talk now?)
we headed straight for the Sally Hansen queue for a proper nail revitalisation
before popping to Rimmel for a gel manicure. it's such a hard life being a strawberry sister
we roly-polyed (oops, run out of objectives) back downstairs
to the masterclass area and snuck in to hear some total fashion blogging babes

our final destination was the hair room
(not a horror movie about a room made of hair as the name may suggest).
the many braids that we'd seen around the festival started to make sense
as there was a ruddy BRAID BAR. well JEL.

so thanks glamour for, you know, arranging the whole shabang
maybe see you next year? x
