when you can't decide between porridge or cake
we've got the perfect solution
PORRIDGE POTS!
we stole this recipe from Goldilocks and the three bears
but made a few fitspo tweaks
to satisfy our cravings while still not falling completely off the wagon
you will need:
2 bananas
3 tablespoons of butter
a big ole squeeze of maple syrup
2 eggs
1 splash of vanilla (or 1 teapsoon if you want to be specific)
1 & 1/2 cup of flour
pinch of salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
a shake of cinnamon
1 & 1/2 cup of self-rasing flour
additional toppings - whatever you want!
firstly, mash two bananas
add in the butter
then drizzle the maple syrup
crack in two eggs
and add vanilla
mix together
measure out the flour
stir it together
next add the baking powder, salt & cinnamon
keep mixing
the essential ingredient to our porridge pots: porridge oats!
add to the bowl
once mixed, you're ready to spoon into cupcake cases
fill the cases half-way
and top with your favourite topping
we added bananas, blueberries & cacao nibs
bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown
enjoy for breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a snack...
or keep in case you have a bear-shaped visitor
